University of Perpignan Via Domita (UPVD) is one of the oldest European university. The main campus is located on the south-west of France, in Perpignan. The university also has branches in Tautavel, Font-Romeu, Narbonne, Carcassonne and Mende. Established in 1350 the university plays a significant role in local economical and educational development. Nowadays more than 9,5 thousand students study at the UPVD.

UPVD offers more than 130 bachelor (license), master and PhD programs. Double degree programs in the fields of regional cooperation, tourism, economics and management are enrolled in collaboration with Autonomous University of Barcelona, Balearic Islands University (Spain) and Van Lang University (Vietnam).
UPVD works in close cooperation with many higher education institutions across the globe. Academic mobility agreements are signed with 200 universities all around the world. Almost 25% of all students are foreign citizens. 108 nationalities are represented at educational and research facilities of UPVD.
