CLA (Centre de Linguistique Appliquée)is a language school located in Besançon (France) as a part of University of Franche-Comté. Established in 1958, the school host 4 thousand students from all over the world annually.
The main focus of CLA are French as foreign language and linguistics courses. Few dozens of programs of different profiles (basic French, medical French, scientific French, law French and others), duration (from two weeks to one year) and added modules (pedagogics, for example) are offered. The school also has courses of 9 other languages – English, Arabic, Chinese, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish.
CLA has all necessary educational infrastructure. The students can use 4 multimedia laboratories and extensive multimedia library. Special information facilities help international students to get any necessary information about educational process, accommodation and getting into French society.
